Hi everyone,
I have had 1 egg collection back in 2019, i over stimulated and had a freeze all cycle. I went on to have 4 FET and now have a beautiful 3 year old.
We have no embryos left and would really love to give her a sibling, however i am sooooo worried about OHSS happening again.
We are looking at using a new clinic and they have reassured me that they will use lower doses of meds etc.
But i just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation and had gone on to have a second egg collection with no complications? Just after a bit of reassurance really and some positive stories? If you did have OHSS the first time and avoided it the second, what did you do differently?
Thanks :)

My very first ivf cycle i had some ohss but didn't do a freeze all cycle i still had a fresh 3 day embryo transfer and I must say it wasn't pleasant at all and was very sore for a long time but some how that transfer was successful but in my 2 other cycles I didn't have any sort of issues with ohss and I was much older, I think if I remember rightly they lowered slightly my meds to ovoid over stimulation.

Thats really reassuring to hear thank you! Yeah i can imagine a fresh transfer must have been really hard on you if you were experiencing OHSS!!
