Anyone tried stims protocol for FET with thin lining?

Hi everyone, wondering if anyone has done a FET with IVF stims as opposed to standard oestrogen pills patches to boost lining and had success this way?

I had a natural FET cancelled in Jan and a modified natural FET with progynova/ vagifem/oestrogen patches go ahead but result in a Bfn. My lining took 3 weeks on max dose to get to a measly 6.8, don't think artificial oestrogen works for me so my consultant has said another option is to do stims instead, as my lining got to a decent level in my 2nd egg collection round, but with very high oestrogen levels

Has anyone had a similar situation and found it worked better for them?

I tried it in my last FET. Still only got to 6.9mm and it was unsuccessful but obviously don’t know what my lining would have been without the stims so can’t say whether it helped. It’s obviously more expensive but perhaps worth a go and hopefully you have more luck than me! The other thing I did on the advice of my consultant was to have a hysteroscopy to “refresh” the lining. Again, can’t say that was particularly successful and again it was expensive!

Thanks @TakeMeOnATrip, I'm in for another hysteroscopy tomorrow, my 3rd (hope 3rd time is the charm!) and then poss alice/emma/era after that in a mock cycle, poss with stims this time. I'm willing to give it a go anyway, hope some of it leads to success! Right now just feels like more money to get poked and prodded with no results...
