Late cycle after first IVF round - is this normal

Hi, I completed my first round of IVF in January and had to have a freeze all cycle due to OHSS risk. Consultant wanted me to have my withdrawal bleed then start prep for frozen transfer on my next cycle.

my first withdrawal bleed came as expected around 27 days. However I am still waiting for my next cycle - currently CD 35 and feel so impatient.

has anyone experienced having a late period for a couple of cycles?

Yes, this happened to me. After egg retrieval I had a cycle of 33 days, I’m normally 28 days, and then the next one was 40 days! We did the transfer after that cycle and I’m now 28 weeks pregnant 🥰 Wishing you all the luck in the world! 🍀

@Kaybee1989 thanks for responding!! Good to know others might be in the same boat! Thankfully (for my patience and sanity haha) I have started spotting so expecting period in the next day or so!! Congratulations on your pregnancy that’s so exciting 🙌🥳
