Hi, I hope this is the right section I am posting in, I have been ttc for 567 years... OK not quite so long but it feels like it.

We have been ttc for more than 2 years, I have had 2 mmc in that time (but within the first year of ttc) I am 36, and already have dc. The last mmc was August 2023. Since then, nothing.

I have had all of the tests and a scan (except i am still waiting for an hsg scan) and everything came back good, regular cycles, regular ovulation.
Now today dh sperm analysis letter arrived and said "recent semen analysis test was normal" so, I know this is all really good on paper... but then I really don't understand why we are not pregnant and now I feel even more frustrated that there is nothing I can do to change things or fix things.

If you have read this far, thank you and feel free to rant, chat, or share your experience too ❤️

Hi @Ladyinpink1 sorry you find yourself here! It's so frustrating when it's not happening and everything comes back normal.

Have you had surgical management for your MMCs? I ask because I had a surgical TFMR and after 8 months TTC with no luck, having gotten pregnant quickly before, I felt.like something was up and had an ultrasound suggesting I had adhesions as a result of the surgery- its not super common, but is often missed on ultrasounds and can prevent you getting pregnant again. A hycosy scan can show these up (I had a hycosy and hsg to check tubes as well) but a hysteroscopy is the best way to see if anything going on and also treat at the same time. Might not be an issue for you at all but just thought I'd mention as I had no idea this was even a thing until I finally saw a doctor who suggested it was something to look into!

Thank you for your reply @Orangewillow and informationfor the informatsincei hope you had success since you had these scans and the removals?

Both mmc were natural, but actually with what you are saying, the consultant talked about a small possibility of blocked tubes after a miscarriage, that was the reason she said she would do the hsg just to confirm. So I am waiting for the appointment to come through for that.

Just incase someone comes along and reads this thread in the future, I wanted to update it, especially if it gives someone else the hope I was looking for at the time that I wrote it.

I am now almost 20 weeks pregnant. We still don't know why it took so long to concieve, as everything, including my hsg was normal. I will never forget how tough that time was emotionally, but it can happen! xx
