Testosterone Levels and At Home Tests

Sorry, two parter from me.

Firstly, what are the acceptable nmol/L for testosterone? My doctors “acceptable” range is 0.2-1.65 but a blood test tracking app says it should be between 0-0.04! Mine is 0.6?!

Secondly, does anyone have any At Home Test recommendations? I’ve had LH, FSH, SHBG, TSH, PRG and testosterone. For some reason my AMH hasn’t been tested so I know this would be a good one to do.

Hi @HopelessGsyGirl I checked my AMH and various other hormone markers through Hertility and booked a nurse consult to discuss the results. I've also used Medichecks for thyroid including TPO antibodies, however their advice was my thyroid was in range when it wasn't and it was then a bit of a saga to actually get meds for it!

I found my GP less than helpful also, they weren't even aware there was an optimal range for TSH for fertility and I wasn't confident they were correct in saying other hormones were ok either. The best help I got was at a fertility clinic as they can prescribe meds as well as look for the optimal levels, but Hertility could be a good starting off point to get a few things done relatively cheaply x
