Cancelled FET due to cyst

Hello ladies

I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience of a cycle being cancelled due to a cyst on the ovaries

Never had cysts before but when I when in for my baseline scan there was large one on my right ovary so the doctor has cancelled the FET cycle and moved it to next month when I will be rescanned

Has anyone's cysts naturally gone away/ taken medication and how long it took. Wondering if next months might also be delayed

Many thanks

Hi. What were your symptoms? Did you miss periods?

Hiya @AnxiousD no symptoms just had a scan. Period came a little late (a week) but as it's my first 'natural' one after egg collection that wasn't a surprise

Have you had something similar?

I had an ovarian cyst found on my last scan before EC. They continued & did fresh transfer. NHS saw it at my 12 week scan and PP i was referred for repeat, it’s stayed the same size since 12 week scan so just waiting to hear whether they will leave it be based on that or want to remove it due to how long it’s been there. I guess maybe mine was smaller though?? The consideration to remove it based on it still being there maybe indicates they do shrink/go away though.

Hi @Btowngirl so glad it worked out for you congratulations! So they didn't think it was a negative impact on the transfer and pregnancy as they said they won't transfer unless it's optimum conditions and not sure how long that could be !
