Recovery time - 6 weeks after EC

My collection was 10/1 still not feeling well at all , been to doctors all the usual . Iron is on the low side otherwise ok

how long did it take you to feel physically well after ? Still feeling so unwell and struggling to work etc

very washed out , a lot of pain - bit worse than usual endo pain

got my follow up shortly but I’m deffo not well enough for fet yet . Any experiences welcome

I felt fine on the day (19 collected) just bloated. The following day was probably worse with feeling tender, bloated and lower back pain. Very tired too, however 4 days on I’m absolutely back to normal however I do think the progesterone is aggravating a few symptoms.
Did you have a high egg count? At risk of OHSS? Did you have a fresh transfer or freeze all?
have you spoken to your clinic?

They just said should be fine after transfer !

assuming it’s just my endo flaring up

no no ohss , fresh transfer , chemical and I’ve had my period since

dunno if it’s all just emotional or endo or I’m imagining the pain ?! Just want to get back to normal and work routine now

got my follow up later this week finally to discuss fet

dont wait for your appointment if your in pain, ask to speak to one of the nursing team perhaps? Sorry you’re having such a rough time with it ☹️ best of luck for your next transfer x

They won’t discuss at all at this point just said GP! Just got codeine for now which does bugger all
