BFP - how much progesterone now?

I had a CP at Christmas. Just had a BFP after first round of Letrozole 7.5. I’ve been taking progesterone suppositories for two weeks. The fertility doctor said from day 14-28. (Today is day 27)

Should I ask for progesterone for the next few months? I can’t get hold of NHS fertility nurse or doc, and will try and speak to my GP today.

I know some research says after CPs and miscarriages you can take it for 14 weeks?

Would love some advice. Did anyone take it for longer and did it help you?

My IVF clinic prescribed progesterone pessaries until I was 16 weeks pregnant. This is in line with NICE guidance if you have had previous miscarriages & bleeding in early pregnancy - I would share this link with your GP and request progesterone, it won’t do any harm.

Thanks @PinaColadaJ - I’d read the same article actually and have asked my GP to prescribe. She’s given me one weeks worth while we try and get the go ahead from the consultant. Did you take 2 x 400mg pessaries a day?

I was on 4 x 200mg of utrogestan.

Wishing you all the best x
