Hi all, just posting as we’re currently a bit in the dark and I’m feeling a bit frustrated and unsure what to think (AIBU?).
We did retrieval on Monday, Tuesday morning were given full results and told we would be contacted with the day-5 results on Friday (i.e. did we get any blastocysts and if so how many). We were also told we would need to inform them by Saturday (today) if we wanted to do PGT-A testing on any of them.
Waited all day yesterday, by 4pm (UK time) had heard nothing back. Treatment was in Athens, so 2 hours ahead there. I’m aware our nurse coordinator often works a split shift so popped her a whatsapp over to check we hadn’t missed an email somehow. She said she would get back to us on the same day, Friday, still. Got to almost 7 (almost 9 where she is, the time she finishes) and I checked quickly if we were still expecting to hear back. She ‘loved’ both messages but didn’t reply.
Today emailed the main address to check if there was an update and to ask for them to let us know what was happening, even if just to tell us we would now hear back on Monday (Saturday is a working day for the clinic).
Again, nothing.
Not really sure what to think. We wouldn’t have minded if they had at least checked in to tell us it would be Monday, but just leaving us hanging around in the dark for days, not knowing the outcome doesn’t seem great. 🤷🏻♀️
