Hi all, I thought I'd create a thread for everyone undergoing ivf in March 2025.
I have my official nurses appointment first week of March and with all going well will be starting short protocol ivf end of March. Sending baby dust to all those ttc this year. 🤍

Hi 👋

i started the Feb post but seems I’ll be stimming and egg collection in March!

lovelivelaugh63 · 05/02/2025 16:08

@ivfjourneyandme welcome! Do you have a start date for your stims?
Are you doing long or short protocol?

ivfjourneyandme · 05/02/2025 17:04

@lovelivelaugh63 doing a long protocol this time - starting busrelin on 14th Feb and scan on 26th Feb to see if ovaries have gone to sleep. Then may start stimming then. Did short cycle in December 2024 so this is all new to me!

lovelivelaugh63 · 05/02/2025 17:37

@ivfjourneyandme how did short cycle go?

@lovelivelaugh63 awful. Got 4 follicles and 4 mature eggs which considering my AMH is amazing. But despite using ICSI we had a total failed fertilisation 😭 Was not prepared for that!

lovelivelaugh63 · 18/02/2025 20:24

Hi @ivfjourneyandme have you started stims? How is it going?

OP posts:
ivfjourneyandme · 18/02/2025 20:36

@lovelivelaugh63 im on day 5 of down-regulation. Another 8 days of this before see if start stimming.

Where are you up to?

lovelivelaugh63 · 18/02/2025 20:38

@ivfjourneyandme I'm awaiting my nurses appointment which is first week of March and hopefully then after that on day 1 of my cycle I can start stims

Hi @ivfjourneyandme lovely to see you on this thread (well not lovely but you know what I mean) I'm nipping in as due to start downreg things in march was hoping for a march transfer but due to period still not showing from my miscarriage looks like it will be an April transfer, still nipping on as hoping we may get an end of march

lovelivelaugh63 · 28/02/2025 16:00

Hi @camelinastorm are you long protocol or short protocol ivf?

I am due to start my ivf end of March, and I'm absolutely scared! I just feel everything is daunting and closing up on me. There's so many what ifs! Like what if it doesn't work, what if there's no eggs retrieved due to my poor amh. Just holding onto a string of hope.

camelinastorm · 28/02/2025 16:06

@lovelivelaugh63 I'm due a scan next week to see what's going on I personally would like to do a full EC again as I only have 2 frozen left, I don't know if it's classed as long I basically have the pill for 2/3 weeks then start stims so no idea, after 3 rounds you would think I'd be a pro but still none the wiser I haven't had my amh tested in 2 years I really need mine done last time I think it was like 18
Are you on long or short and what's your amh

ivfjourneyandme · 01/03/2025 13:43

@camelinastorm hey!!

I have a scan next week to see if down regulation had worked, then hopefully start stimming

lovelivelaugh63 · 01/03/2025 13:57

@camelinastorm I am gonna be on short protocol
And my amh is 9.7 which is very low for my age

Myself and my wife are hoping to do reciprocal IVF this month with me carrying her egg as I have endometriosis and very low AMH and AFC (3.8 and 10) despite only being 34. We had a cancelled cycle last month due to her having a dominant follicle on day 5, just impatiently waiting for her start her period (which is a week late currently) so she can have a day 2 scan (fingers crossed no dominant follicle) and we can try again.

Hi all -been following this thread and wanted to wish everyone best of luck.

I’m also in the process now ; had my egg collection today with 12 eggs short protocol. I’m 41 but I don’t know my AMH level but I was quiet pleasantly surprised - after my scan last week I thought I would have maybe 8 eggs probably some not mature so it’s a good start here .

Waiting for embryologist to call me tomorrow to see any of them fertilized; the waiting game through the process is not fun . Crossing fingers for tomorrow

Marshmallow99 · 22/03/2025 19:42

Hi Everyone,

so pleased I have found a thread with others going through the same this month. I had my fresh transfer last Saturday but I’m absolutely devastated, I used a FRER early detection test and it was stark white negative. I know it’s not official test day but can’t help but feel like it’s going to be a failed cycle. Did anyone else get a BFN on 7dpt then go on to be positive? X
