Has anyone had a delayed period after seeing a corpus leutum cyst on the ultrasound scan? I had my recent 6th ivf cycle cancelled as there were only 3 small follicles and a 4 mm endometrium (was down regulated and started my FSH 11 days after my period which probably messed things up a little bit. I didn’t bleed after stopping my FSH and had an US scan 3 weeks later during which showed a 2 cm follicle and an 8 mm endometrium. We were told to try naturally that cycle but did get my period which was light. I had another ultrasound with a different clinic as we desparate and exploring alternative methods like natural modified ivf. On the second scan which was taken only 5 days since day 1 of my cycle they saw that the follicle had grown to 2.7 cm with an 8 mm endometrium and said it’s a corpus leutum cyst. We thought we will try naturally again this cycle and now I am 7 days late. I am wondering if I could possibly be pregnant or the cyst is messing up with my cycle. I know I could test and find out but dreading to do so as I want to be in my own bubble where I am thinking that I am pregnant. After having had so many failed ivf cycles I suppose it’s far fetched that I could fall pregnant naturally. I would appreciate if anyone can share their experience. Thanks in advance!
