After 8 years of TTC have never had a positive pregnancy test. Did IVF last year with own egg and sperm which resulted in two early miscarriages and a chemical. The doctors kept saying that most likely due to chromosomal issues with the embryo.
Finding the IVF process very tough mentally and physically so in December we tried double donor FET which unfortunately failed to implant. Used both embryo hatching and embryo glue and it was a 3AA blastocyst.
About to start the process of a second double donor FET. The only change to the protocol is going to use an ovitrelle trigger the day of the transfer and a few days after. The doctor says the theory is the HCG tricks your body into thinking pregnant and less likely to reject the embryo?
Just so worried about it not working again. I know it's all chance and like flipping a coin but can't help feeling hopeless about the whole situation.
I guess I'm looking for success stories for people who have had 4+ failed transfers, or whether anyone has used the ovitrelle trigger post transfer.
Thanks 😊
