Hey everyone, I have a 2-3 day scan scheduled for Monday for my second round of IVF, and I'm feeling a bit uncertain about what to expect. During my first round, we didn’t end up with any viable embryos, which was really disappointing. We collected 6 eggs, but one wasn't mature, and the others didn’t fertilize properly due to a thick zona around the eggs. We tried rescue ICSI the following day, and although one egg made it to day 5, it eventually stopped growing. This time, we’re doing an all ICSI round.
I’m curious if anyone else has gone through something similar. I started my period yesterday, and they advised me to email them on the first day. Does this mean I’ll start stimulation right away without needing down-regulation medication, or will I have to wait a few more weeks? Any insights would be appreciated!
