How many ivf cycles did it take before you got your baby? I'm starting my 4th soon. Hope it works! Xx

My third cycle was successful. My consultant kept telling me it was a numbers game, and he was right. Wishing you the best of luck.

Wishing you lots of luck. We are starting our first cycle now. I need to prepare myself mentally for the fact it might not be successful. In my head it's hard to fathom that it won't just 'work', but I know the odds aren't really in our favour.

I have a friend who was successful with first FET and now they are pregnant with their second with their second FET.

I can only hope we are as lucky as that, but I know it's a numbers game.

I know and a few people who got lucky on their first go. My amh is quite low which makes it harder. I'm on the highest dose this time round though so fingers crossed it does the trick. Good luck to you xxxxx

It's taken me 2 collections and 4 transfers (2 fresh 2 frozen ) to get my positive, it's totally unpredictable, I have 2 friends both worked first try. The only difference with this one is I had the beetroot shots as well as the cartons and drank it twice a day, pro6didnt make a blind bit of difference 😂

2 cycles - but it was my 3rd double transfer before it worked and I’d previously also had 6 failed IUI’s. My 2nd cycle (the one that worked) was also on maximum med doses, so 🤞for you OP that this is the one!

5 ICSI cycles and 6 embryo transfers before one worked. But that's becuase my husband has bad sperm so it was really hard to fertilise the eggs. If it's a comfort to you I think from looking at how few cycles some ladies seem to do on mumsnet and social media (only one or two!) it's much less cycles if the woman is the one with fertility difficulties. (rather than the man) Hopefully therefore you'll not need as many as we did! Best of luck.
