FET #5 5dp5dt BFP?

I know it's so early, and I know I'm crazy. But u need to have some level of control and testing helps my anxiety and helps me relax.

We testing at lunch time today. 5dp5dt - I swear I see a line. Does anyone see it?
This is transfer #5 from 3ECs. It was a frozen tested euploid embryo. I have so much hope on this little embryo!

I had a transfer at the same time last year and it unfortunately ended in a chemical / early loss at 6+2... so I'm so nervous.

Tested again this morning with FMU and it's looking darker. I'm disappointed in the FRER result though. I was hoping it would be darker as it's a FRER but seems lighter than my easy at home.

I feel relief and just pray the tests continue to get darker!

@Rosieposy89 maybe not great pics as they're definitely darker than yesterday and a pregnancy checker app said positive so I'm holding onto that hope. Will test again tomorrow it's still only 6dp5dt for me.

I just wanted to add an update here for anyone who might stumble on this post. I'm 7dp5dt today and got a BFP on clear blue digital.

Nervous as I've had 2 chemicals before. And the last was this time last year. Praying this year is my Christmas miracle 🙏💫✨

My day 5 and day 6 tests looked exactly like yours. Day 7 was a very obvious bfp!!! Am now 37 weeks. Fingers crossed it continues to progress.

I've gotten my first bfp after years of infertility and ivf cycles just Last week also! The constant worries about losing it again is dreadful 😵‍💫

I wanted to keep this updated for anyone who stumbles on this thread.

My tests aren't getting any darker now so it is looking like it's another chemical for me. I knew it on boxing day when I woke up. I don't know how I just felt it. The first pic is 7,8,9,10dp5dt and the single is today at 11dp5dt. Absolutely gutted, third chemical in 5 transfer.

We've already done so many tests i don't even know what's next for us.

Update: lines continued to get darker. Albeit slowly. clinic OTD was yesterday at 13dp5dt. Tests were positive (attached). I had a private blood test yesterday and results have come back as 157iu/l.

Everything I've read signifies this is vey low and implies that I should keep protecting my heart... a couple of clinical studies I have read and one particular shared by the remembryo guy shared my odds of live birth are 4 - 28%.

Is there anyone who's had bloods who'd be happy to share their results with me please? My clinic has scheduled me for bloods with them tomorrow too so should be able to get the rise and assess.

Hi @Zypig thank you so much for sharing that article I hadn't come across this one yet. The calculator on the page is good too. It told me what I predicted - I'm outside the normal range and should be at 217 - 8245 miu/ml

I know I need to wait to see if levels double tomorrow, but this link by remembryo man has shown me my odds based on statistics which aren't 0 but aren't looking good.

This roller coaster ride continues. I just burst into tears in the phone to the poor nurse. Going in for third beta (second with them) on Monday morning.

Great news! That's a huge jump! You're little embryo must of just been a late implanter 🙂

Thank you @Clocloxx how are you feeling? Any symptoms at all? When do you have you apt / scan etc?

I actually had a scan yesterday at 6 weeks saw a little heartbeat 💓 I'm cautiously optimistic 🤞 I know it's a long road that could end anyday! But trying to enjoy every day 😁

@Clocloxx ah congratulations that's amazing! I'm really tempted to do a private scan at 6w my clinic do everything late and my scan isn't until 8 weeks. I don't know if I can wait that long. App says I'm 5weeks4 today.

Did you test your embryos? Will you to do testing / more scans?

My clinic is aboard and wanted a 6 week scan but if it was up to me I would of done a 7 or 8 week scan because I read at 6 weeks you're 50/50 on seen a heartbeat so obviously if I didn't see one I'd be in total panic untill i done another and there not cheap! 8 weeks is good too you will get a good clear picture of your baby! I'm 6 weeks 5 days today and had my first morning vomiting 😂 have you felt any symptoms yet?
I never tested my embryos, my other rounds I never made embryos had one total failed fertilization too my eggs are very low quality so I'm very surprised I got this far 🤞 I've read nature can correct itself in the womb, did you test yours?
I will definitely book in for another scan maybe 8 weeks over a previous mmc

Hey. Sorry for delay it's been a stressful few days over here. Just when I was starting to relax I was hit with something else to worry about out the blue. No real symptoms other than headaches, but it's been touch and go for me.

On Tuesday midday I had a gush of bright red blood and started cramping in the evening. I was convinced it was another chemical / early miscarriage. Called clinic to help them and they booked a HCG for yesterday morning I was at clinic for intra lipids anyway, despite logic I carried on all meds

Woke up yesterday and no bleeding or cramping, dark spotting and heavy feeling near my cervix. Just tested. I got my bloods back this morning from yesterday. They rose from 2699 on Monday to 6411 yesterday. I'm worried that's a slow progression over three days. I’d have liked to have seen it nearer but clinic are happy. They haven't offered me an earlier scan. They've told me to wait out until my scheduled scan on 23rd January.

I haven't had anymore bleeding it stopped after the gush, got lighter and turned darker. Then yesterday and today it's just dark brown spotting when I wipe. Some mild cramps but I suppose I'd expect that anyway.

They've offered me a blood test next week as reassurance if I want it and I probably will. But I'm looking at people on other threads and they all have earlier scans and wondering if I should just scheduled a private scan as my mental health is struggling. I think I'm supposed to be 6w now. I’m thinking if I did it for midweek next week I might be able to see something? What do you think? As you say. I'd prefer to wait until I should be able to see a heartbeat as don't want to cause myself more anxiety.

It was a euploid embryo. The first we'd ever had. I've never had enough embryos to test on other cycles. Yes you're right, I've read and heard that they can correct in the womb too. I'm also on an immune protocol this time. I had such high hopes but now I'm so nervous. It's been one slow start or issue after another really. Xx

sorry to hear you’re going through such a rollercoaster. It truly is such a hard time psychologically never mind physically. Since you are thinking to get an earlier scan I thought I’d share couple of experiences at this early stage. As timing is pretty important.

My first transfer was a BFP, like you I had a little bleed so I went for a scan via the early pregnancy unit at 5+4, they could see the amniotic and yolk sacks but no Fetal pole nor heartbeat at that stage but said that was normal. I had another private scan at 6+1 which showed the same, this was apparently less normal then given it was exact IVF dates so you’d usually see the fetal pole and HB by then but it was no conclusive. I essentially stayed in limbo until I had my official IVF scan at 7+1 which showed a HB which was a little slow and a fetal pole that was measuring 6days small, they told me expect to miscarry and I later had a mmc at 8+5.

Second transfer BFN.

Third transfer BFP, I had a bit of ovary pain at 5+5 and had a scan to rule out ectopic, again could see both sacs but no definite fetal pole or HB. IVF scan 7+5 showed HB and fetal pole measuring 2 days small, which they said was within the normal range and discharged me from the IVF clinic. That embryo is now 25+2 and kicking me in the ribs…

So knowing what I know now I’d wait until at least 6+3 for a scan, that way there being/not being a fetal pole with a heartbeat has some significance. At exactly 6 weeks it’s so borderline you won’t know either way. Obviously the longer you wait the better but I totally get the feeling of needing to know something.

I just wanted to update this thread that at ) weeks I started bleeding again but with clots. I went to A&E as on blood thinners. Kept me in over night.

Blood test showed HCG remained at consistent level but not risen in 36 hours. I suspected that was confirmation of miscarriage. Follow up scan 4 days later confirmed miscarriage.

5th failed transfer - gutted. I hope this thread helps others in future.

oh @charja100 I’m so sorry. Having been through something very similar all I can say is my heart goes out to you. My MMC at almost 9 weeks crushed me. Please look after yourself and give yourself some time and space to process everything. 💕
