Failed Cycle, go again immediately or wait?

Hey all, we just had a failed IVF cycle. Sadly all of our embryos were aneuploid. Due to the holidays and annual leave we want to go ahead with a second cycle immediately but I have a worry in the back of my mind that maybe we should wait for a fresh batch of eggs.

We asked our consultant and got a second opinion and both said that because we are doing ICSI the three month lifecycle of sperm does not affect us. And in terms of Egg Quality Eggs are recruited on an ongoing basis so its not likely that the eggs from a prior cycle indicate quality of a future cycle. I wonder what others have experienced here though. Would love to hear from anyone who had a poor cycle which was then followed up by a good cycle!

Hi,
I just had total fertilisation failure on my first round. Been armed with loads of vitamins and starting the long protocol when my next period starts (not the bleed from failed cycle) - this should give me between 7-10 weeks on vitamins which my consultant said would be enough however he did say I could go straight away if I wanted to. I’ve chosen not to so in my mind, if it fails again, I feel I’ve tried everything

My doctor says it depends on when I’m physically and emotionally ready. Some women can start immediately, while others may need a couple of months to recover.
