How much harm does passive smoking cause to eggs?

I live in central London and because of that (or maybe this is how it is everywhere?) I feel like I'm always passing smokers. People smoking in the middle of winter wonderland, on the street, outside pubs etc... I myself don't smoke, neither does my partner, and I do try to hold my breath when I walk past these people but there's only so much I can do - I can't always notice every smoker and I'm not an Olympic swimmer so can't hold my breath the entire time I walk past a pub. How much harm will this cause to eggs? Currently embryo banking.

The harm it will cause will be residual, if any. What affects egg quality, first and foremost, is age, and that is not something you can change.

Good luck with the banking!!!

I very much doubt this would have any effect. Different if you were living with a smoker or smoking yourself. When you think of it back in the day people were able to smoke indoors and on airplanes and everything it was just the norm. Mad when you think about it now.

I think it wouldn't have any effect unless you were very often in an enclosed space with smokers ie indoors for many years

Ahh that's definitely reassuring - hopefully no huge damage caused 🙏
