Hi, recently had a consultation with this clinic and was recommended a speculative/precautionary hysteroscopy. The dr said - we can do it next week.

It seems from research and asking around that they recommend for everyone to have a hysteroscopy whether there is any clinical indication for it or not.

Trying to work out if they are trustworthy, if it would be ill-advised to have this procedure if not strictly necessary.

TIA

Yes, they do recommend I believe to everyone. I have been with them and they offered. I wasn't successful.

Hi! I went with a different clinic in Athens in the end. Their approach was much more personalised and tailored to your clinical profile. They also don’t do for eg endometrial scratches with everyone as for some people (depending on physiology/ immunological profile) it can be counterproductive. (Serum said they would do an endometrial scratch during an initial free phone call – again, they offer it for everyone, seemingly to help sell the hysteroscopy.)

I also spoke with several people who had hysteroscopies with Serum and a short time later were told by a different team that the issue the hysteroscopy was supposed to cover (eg polyps) was still there. Don’t trust them personally!

Thank you for the reply.
May I ask which clinic have you chosen? Any success?
