Antibiotics while stimulating Egg follicles.

Hi

I have just started my stims today but also been told I have a bacterial infection in my uterus (determined through a endometrium biopsy). I have to take metronidazole antibiotics for 5 days and just wondered if anyone else has taken antibiotics while stimulating egg follicles prior to egg collection. The nurse assured me it would be ok, but I do worry incase this can affect egg quality at all.

Has anyone else taken antibiotics while doing stims and had a healthy live birth after ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I took metronidazole for the first few days of my last collection cycle for a tooth infection. It was actually my best round yet in terms of numbers and I’m now pregnant with one of those little frozen embryos :). Maybe it even helped. Who knows! Good luck.
