DH and I were supposed to be starting a cycle of IVF yesterday. We are having PGD treatment as he carries a BRCA1 gene. Went for my scan yesterday on day 2 of my period and there's a cyst. I had blood tests yesterday and the hospital has just called me saying it's oestrogen producing and so I can't start the injections yet. Pretty gutted as it will be at least January with Xmas shut down and been waiting about 2 years and at 37 time isn't on my side!! Doctor is calling me next week but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what the likely treatment is?? The nurse said it wasn't dangerous and would not be a problem at all if I wasn't having ivf.
