Have been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I had my egg collection 12 days ago which seemed to go fine but I’ve since had ongoing pain in my mid-back and occasionally in my upper abdomen, on my right hand side. It feels fine when lying down but when sitting up it hurts again (which doesn’t bode well for my office job).
I went in for a scan last week and they said they could see minimal/1cm of fluid on my ovaries. My right ovary was still quite large (there were more follicles there) but said that was to be expected and could take a couple of weeks to settle. They did some blood tests for my liver/kidneys and they came back fine. I had 13 eggs retrieved and also did buserelin trigger as we’re doing a freeze all cycle due to a polyp. So they weren’t too concerned about OHSS. Has anyone else had similar pain and how long did it last? Thought it would have got better by now!
