Prostap downreg injection experiences? Please help!

Hi all
I had the Prostap injection around 2 weeks ago to start down regulation. Last few days I’ve been feeling so low and teary, and today barely able to stop crying for long. I have had a recent bereavement which may be playing into it, but it feels a bit more uncontrollable than normal. Also had persistent headaches. Has anyone had similar experiences with Prostap? If so, please let me know when I might start feeling normal again?! Thanks in advance

Hi, I've been on prostap the last few weeks. A nurse at our clinic told me the symptoms are very individualised. I've not been feeling more emotional than usual but I did feel quite rattled by something at work last week (more so than usual) and ended up having a bit of a cry in front of my manager which was a bit embarrassing! I've also had the headaches and only been able to sleep with the window open (even in these temperatures). Don't worry, you'll get through it 😊

Hiya, sorry to hear about your bereavement.

I've been getting the headaches too. And very tired although I'm a teacher so just wondering if the tiredness is just from work. My main symptom is my skin - I have sooooooo many spots at the minute.

We must all be on similar timelines as I had my injection about three weeks ago and I know @tpeas is around about the same.

Thanks both! That’s reassuring that it is hopefully just the Prostap causing the headaches then, I was starting to worry it was a longer term thing as I do get migraines in normal times! It sounds like it affects people differently, and I’m well aware I might just be processing other things too so think just need to take it day by day at the moment. Best of luck with your cycles, I’ll try and find you on a Nov thread soon x
