Hi guys!

Just wondered if anyone was doing IVF I started my long protocol end of October and had egg retrieval today

It's not my first time doing this and can take a toll so just looking for some positive vibes.

It's always good to hear others stories as well and know your not alone

@Autumn245 got everything crossed for you! I will be exactly the same and defo unable to hold off on testing 😂 thank you,feeling ok about EC tbf trying not to go down the black hole of google after I saw a horror story of someone who felt everything 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 was yours ok?

@wishinghard2 glad the transfer went well. I haven’t been offered the glue but it sounds good?! Anything to assist the sticking process 😂

@Cosyseason1234 I think l read that 2% of people feel pain during egg collection. Unfortunately I was one of them 😕 don't want to scare you with all the details, but yes I did feel everything and cried throughout the whole procedure. My clinic do a conscious sedation so you are awake but feel a little tipsy like you've had a few drinks. They seemed shocked I could feel it so I don't think it's normal to feel pain. I know a girl who went to same clinic around the same time as me and she didn't feel a thing and felt very sleepy during the procedure and didn't remember much when she 'woke up' so I think it's different for everyone.

how is everyone getting on? Good luck to those that have their egg collection this week. I didn’t feel much in my egg collection and was very sleepy under the sedation. I actually felt more under the transfer this time around but last time I didn’t feel much for either.

my last cycle we waited until our test date to the test but this time around we are only two days in and the wait is already driving us mad. Our test date falls the weekend after my partners birthday and the weekend before my birthday so I expect we will end up waiting until our test date again and hoping we have ourselves a nice happy outcome.

I've had cramping on one side and lower back pain. No idea if that's a good sign or just side effects of the progesterone! Part of me wants to test early (I did with my DD) but the other part is happy being blissfully unaware and enjoying being PUPO

I'm 7dp5dt I have also had back pain, cramping sometimes feels my period is come, bad insomnia and very emotional not sure if this is a good thing or if it's just the medication. Beta in a few days may test before not sure yet.

we have out test date on Thursday and I have kept myself well occupied but today is the day I just can’t get it out of my head!

My test date not until Saturday which is 15 days past transfer. But..... I've already tested.... and it's positive!! 😁

@Autumn245 amazing news!!!! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it stays that way! I’m town about testing early. I am desperate too but also want the dream to last as long as possible.

@wishinghard2 thank you. I think I'll feel better about it when we get a scan, doesn't quite feel real yet. I understand that feeling, it's nice not knowing either way and enjoying the now. I could never understand why my clinic have such a long wait for testing, especially as I did a natural cycle and my period would be of been due today. Keeping my fingers crossed for good news when you test 🤞

I couldn’t wait any longer and tested tonight (my true test date is Thursday) unfortunately it’s a negative for us this time around :(. I’ll be hoping for your positive Saturday though it sounds like you are going in the right direction! Wishing you all the very best!
