Testing after embryo transfer

What is the earliest you could possibly test after an embryo transfer. I’m really downhearted as there were no blastocysts to transfer just morula’s and waiting 12 days for my fears to be confirmed feels like the worlds longest wait. I wondered if after 6/7 days you could test?

I'm a POAS addict and started testing 4dp5dt. There will be many that will tell you (rightly!) that this will only cause more stress...!

With my daughter I got a faint line on 6dp5dt on a cheapie test. With my current pregnancy, I had a shadow that only I could see on a FRER on 4dp5dt.

If you're going to test early, FRER is the only way to go in terms of sensitivity.

Good luck!

With my fresh transfer I tested out the trigger and continued testing everyday after transfer. Got a faint positive on day 4. Although you can easily get complete blanks on days 4,5,6 and positive on day 7, it's different for everyone and every pregnancy

Thank you both. I only had my transfer yesterday so going to try and hold out until Sunday at least but we will see?!
did you both have blastocysts transferred ours hadn’t quite made it to that stage so they transferred a compacted morula and a partially compacted morula and I’m not holding out hardly any hope! Congratulations to you both on your BFP”s!

I got my BFP 6dp5dt and that was first I tested after

Autumn245 · 12/11/2024 21:10

I think mine was a blast but can't be sure, don't think my clinic actually said. This was 2 years ago, I'm in the process of trying for a sibling and hoping to do a FET this month.

Some people have success with a day 3 tranfer before the embryo gets to blast stage so don't count yourself out just yet. Fingers crossed for you x

I got a vvvvfl at 4dp5t (although ended in MC at 5.5 weeks).

ThatAlertSquid · 12/11/2024 22:05

Thank you all, think I will try on Saturday or Sunday!
@Autumn245 good luck, I ope it’s successful for you xx

@ThatAlertSquid thank you. Keep us posted with your test results 🤞

ThatAlertSquid · 14/11/2024 09:11

Am I imagining things or does this look like a very faint second line?

That's definitely a 2nd line ☺️ congratulations!

ThatAlertSquid · 14/11/2024 11:08

Oh I do hope so 🤞

Did you have a trigger injection at all? As some people's trigger takes longer to go out of system than others so best to test again tomorrow to see if line darker🤞
My trigger was out of my system day before tranfer but I still didn't believe the line when I tested haha. It's such a stressful time.

ThatAlertSquid · 14/11/2024 11:17

Oh it really is stressful! I did have an ovitrelle trigger on 4th November, maybe it is that. How long do the usually take to leave the system. I won’t get my hopes up just yet x

As I say different for everyone. Mines was gone before transfer though

Berrymargarita · 15/11/2024 04:04

Tested 6 days past and HCG was 54 plus positive home test. No trigger here
