Should I be taking Aspirin

I have had one fresh transfer and one frozen both of which failed. We still have 4 frozen embryos and our consultant thinks we just need to keep trying and one will stick.

however for these first 2 transfers I have not been taking aspirin. He hasn’t recommended it but everyone else I read about seems to be taking it. Should I be pushing for aspirin for the next transfer?

@Sherr33 yeah I am so that could be what’s caused the bleeding too.

im sure it’s normal for the symptoms to come and go! Would you maybe get a private scan before that to put your mind at ease? There seems to be so many private scan clinics popping up near me now

I really want to but OH said no 😫 to wait for 12 week
Yhh they do say sometimes due to where you put pessaries can also cause spotting but let's not think about that right now. Good vibes, good thoughts and positive feelings 🙏

@Sherr33 thanks so much. Negative for me this morning unfortunately. Absolutely gutted and feel like we’ve just wasted embryos when clearly further testing is needed, think we’ll do Emma/alice/era stuff before another transfer but I have worries about dna frag too so not sure whether to do that test and just start another round fresh. Ugh head’s a mess but have to move forward

I'm so so sorry. 🫂 maybe some research on what is most commonly prescribed depending on EMMA/ALICE tests would be good too. In terms of DNA fragmentation you can see what they would do differently if it came as highly fragmented. From all the tests I'd say look into NK cells as well/bondi protocol. But most importantly please take time out for yourself. X
