Trying my best to make sure I’ve got plenty of buffer for medication gain

is 7-14lb the average ballpark ?

struggling to stay much more than 6lb under , is stressing me out a lot !

any input be most welcome , really don’t want to get cancelled on collection day and they are super strict

Gonna try to get as much off the next week or two

To be honest I never really noticed any weight gain during meds. I think how you respond and if you gain weight or not is very individual

Thank you
I’m the kind of person that gains if they eat a bite of bread 😂

hoping I can get through stims without getting cancelled due to weight gain

I haven't had any weight gain either.
I did follow the clinic advice, low carb, high protein diet so maybe that helps too. Also plenty of water. You need that to support follicle growth but I guess it also helps with feeling full.
I drink 2-3l of water, plus 0.5-1l of milk daily.

I never gained anything either - there is no reason you would so long as you eat normally and remain active.

I didn't gain any weight thankfully. A bit maybe with some bloating after egg collection but seemed to go down quickly and I even lost a bit of weight after that if anything! But I was trying to eat quite healthy throughout to give myself the best chance and to recover well. Good luck 🥰

No weight gain from normal IVF medicines unless you are on steroids.

Really curious who told you that, I don’t think I gained any weight and I had many rounds of IVF.
Anyway hope it goes well.

That's bonkers and ridiculous setting women up with an expectation that should happen - talk about initiating a self fulfilling prophecy! The top end of that is more than I gained during my entire pregnancy 😂

Ignore them OP, just be sensible with what you eat and enjoy yourself at Christmas. Hope all goes well.

I gained about 3kg on long protocol, I was all over the place emotionally, and couldn't maintain my usual exercise routine.

I then developed severe OHSS after egg collection and after fresh transfer. I gained a further 7kg because of this, but it was all bloating and from enlarged ovaries. I returned to normal weight after about 4 weeks, all worth it as I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and only up 4kg from my original starting weight, talk about a rollercoaster!

Thanks lovely that isn’t too bad

I’ve got 6 weeks now so I’ll get another stone buffer

they’ve warned I’ll be weighed weekly if it works and must not gain any weight , so just trying to make this my normal now
