How many batch freezing cycles can I realistically do!

I'm batch freezing embryos at the moment / embryo banking and getting around 1 euploid per cycle... I want a large family. Is there a limit on how many cycles I can do before it's damaging to health.

I'd like to ideally bank around 7-9 embryos (enough for 4 children), money isn't an issue.

Anyone with experience of doing lots of cycles back to back?

It’s about 3-4 embryos for clinical pregnancy and live birth so for 4 kids you would need more like 12 and its also dependent in age.

I already have a child

And my doc said 2-3 euploid embryos would be on the safe side, so (4-1)x3=9

Depending on your age and how long it takes to bank embryos, you could consider transferring one when you have some but not necessarily your target number.
Because some people are lucky and beat the odds and maybe get pregnant from most transfers (I’ve turned out not to be one of them but my friend has 3 children from 3 transfers).

If you’d rather just crack on and get as many embryos banked as possible, does your clinic offer duo stim? I found it worked well and saved time.

Can you please explain duo stim?

The thing is, I'd rather get to my target number than start banking embryos again when I'm older...

Duo stim is where you have egg collection and then start stims again a few days after. There is growing evidence of it being a successful approach and sometimes getting more eggs on the second go relative to the first half of the cycle. My clinic were very keen and get good results with it.

I totally get wanting to get your eggs collected at a younger age, was just putting the idea out there as I don’t know your age or general fertility.

Yes I guess this is my question!
I've done duo stim. I want to go again, I don't want breaks, just egg collection after egg collection. How many can I do without a break?

What does your clinic say?
I don't know your age, AMH, AFC etc and how your body responds to medication. I remember watching someone on YouTube who did 8 egg collections and ended up needing to take half a year break as her body couldn't handle it anymore. She now started again
That said she was also doing transfers in between, had miscarriages etc (didnt test embryos) and that can take a toll on the body too.

I would say with this one, you should just ask your doctor.
I can't imagine doing 7-9 back to back egg collections tbh. Not sure how I would be able to function but again everyone's different.

Also not sure if this was discussed but are you taking human growth hormon? I read cases where it increased number of egg collected, blasts and euploidy rates...

Yeah I guess I'll have to talk to the clinic, was just wondering if others have experience of doing many back to back. Just in case it's technically allowed but people say they've had X, Y or Z terrible consequence after. Or if someone gives me a tip eg my clinic wouldn't let me do it this way but I could do it that way.

Human growth hormone - yes, taking Zomacton

@batchfreezing I was told (with natural modified IVF) that I could do them back to back however my body had other ideas (cysts thst needed to disappear for example) so I was forced to have a break in between
