37 years old low amh

I’m feeling so negative and down.

I have just had a chemical pregnancy from first round of IVF. I am 37 and had a AMH of 5.6pmol when i tested in Feb and AFC 5-7.

The first round i had 7 eggs retrieved. 3 fertilised with Icsi. On day 3 the embryos were good quality, on day 5 the one they transfered was an early blastocyst that was too early to be graded, the others were discarded. The round ended in an early chemical pregnancy.

I am scared of what lies ahead and whether this will ever happen.

I just wanted to share my experience to give some hope as it’s similar.
Im nearly 36, same amh and afc as you. Also similar numbers via ivf and ICSI. I had a failed cycle last year, a round start of the year that ended in miscarriage which was crushing so I empathise and then another failed cycle in August. BUT then a few weeks later I got naturally pregnant, I’m 10 weeks now. Still cautiously excited but I’ve had 3 scans and all looking good. I felt so hopeless and like you was scared it would never happen. But it did. I hope you soon have a similar story. 🤍
