Please be kind.
I’ve just had a FET.
On way home, very hungry, stopped at a greggs and ate two of their wedges before realising they were spicy and an egg sandwich that I didn’t realise had turmeric in (the choice was limited!)
Im now really sad that I’ve ruined everything.
Does anyone have any knowledge around implantation and sprice?
I'm so upset with myself and feel like I’ve ruined everything.
(also not sure which forum I should be posting this?)

This will have had zero impact.

You could eat this every day for the next 9 months and be totally fine 💜

I wouldn’t worry about it at all, think of all the different cultures that have very spicy food in their diets and still get pregnant/have babies. It’s totally normal to overthink everything when you have IVF but if it’s meant to stick, it’ll stick. Good luck!

Thank you guys…I’m feeling a bit more rationally minded now and beating myself up instead for getting so upset earlier!

Honestly, the things I beat myself up about before, don’t you worry! I think unless you’re doing drugs or drinking loads of booze there’s not much you can do to harm the potential foetus at this stage

Hi. I had my 5th FET today. Never been told to avoid spicey foods, my clinic just states no alcohol and smoking, which is no brainer. They even say as leaving, now go treat yourself with a coffee. I love spicy food, bought myself a spicy pizza for dinner as my treat. Whens your OTD?

@AnonS hope it went well yesterday and you enjoyed your spicy pizza! I xant believe I got so worked up about it, I’m blaming it on the stress and hormones 😅 I’m now more worried that I was so upset and created a hostile environment arghhhhh!
end of next week for me…I forgot how torturous this bit of the process is! Fingers crossed for you and I hope you don’t get as crazy as I’ve been in this wait…sending positive vibes
