Embryo Grading

20 mature. 16 fertilised. On day 2 call they were really positive, saying the quality looked really good. My clinic does not then call- you get given an apt for day 5 transfer. They seemed really positive it would be likely to see a transfer plus some spare to freeze.

5bb transferred. It was hatching which they seemed pleased about? Does anyone know more about hatching?

A 4CC/ 3CC/ 2DD and 3 x 2CD remained.
My clinic will not freeze any that are CC/ below. Anyone also come across this with their clinic? Is this standard with most clinics?

My first round 9 eggs were collected. 7 were fertilised. 4BB transferred with the rest being 3CC. Resulted in chemical pregnancy.

Before this round we decided to do more investigating on my husband. sperm dna and everything else available- it all came back with really great results and feedback.
any thoughts on what could be yielding such results or is it the nature of the beast that is IVF?

Im feeling really sad at the thought of this transfer not working and having to go through it all again from scratch. (I know it’s silly because to have one embryo transferred is great news)

Some positive messages would be gratefully received xx

Hello, just wanted to say wishing you the best of luck with this round. Hatching embryo is a good sign at least. Good luck for your OTD!

Good luck with your transfer! 5bb is a good grade.
I have a day 6 4CC that my clinic froze.

Thank you @BrightStar2021 @Zypig I tested early. My OTD is Monday. I’m 7dpt 5dt and it’s positive. The line is looking promising. Hoping this is it- after two chemical, two ivf rounds and a miscarriage this is my baby 🥺🥺

Great news on the positive!
Just to say that I had a similar drop off rate/ grading of embryos on my first round. For the second round we did a mix of gonal-F and Pergoveris and got much better embryos. So I think the protocol can have an impact.

@LucyAvalon thank you got responding. I will bear this in mind. I just really hope this sticks because I found this round the most challenging with such a high drop off!
