Do clinics shut over Xmas

I was hoping to start IVF last month but unfortunately found out I was 4 kg over bmi limit. I've almost lost the weight now, but suddenly had a thought that the clinic will probably shut over Xmas. Do clinics usually do that?
We're private but within an NHS hospital.

I'll call the clinic in the morning but I'm slightly panicking over it now so hoping for some reassurance.

I imagine it wouldn’t be financially viable or practical for them to close for an extended period! They probably have a reduced staff and will time things a bit different but I’m sure there are lots of people continuing medication etc over the holidays. My first transfer we did on Dec 10 a number of years ago and there were definitely people in and out of the clinic at various points of treatment.

My private clinic closed over Christmas, maybe for about a week or so

Mine did (Leeds) back in 2020 when I had my DD. She was transferred on 21st December. They told me it was my risk to take because of my lining needed a day or two more (she was a medicated FET) then they would have to abandon the round because of Christmas closure. I took the risk and had a lovely early September baby which was perfect timing in the end!

Like @Mseddy I also did a pre-Christmas FET. My period was delayed and we transferred on the last day clinic was open. OTD was news years eve, and also had a lovely Sept baby 🥰 so there might be something to it!

NHS ones private ones tend to stay open except Xmas day
