Hoping to hear some positive stories of those who have gone on to have children successfully.

Female 38 and male with 25% mobility and 1% morphology.

Going through referrals with the GP at the moment and trying to remain hopeful that it could happen naturally or with IVF but starting to panic due to age

No positive story to share but with hindsight in this case I would definitely go straight to IVF. I too tried naturally (didnt know at the time we had male factor).
In a year my AMH dropped from 11.7 to 7.2.
Had my first IVF cycle last month, had 3 blastocysts but none came back normal. So onto cycle 2 and I'm about to turn 40. Egg quality does decrease with age, all the research says that, as much as we dont like or want to accept it.
We have severe male factor but had good fertilisation/blastocyst formation rate with ICSI, whereas trying naturally we practicaly had close to 0% chance.

I too looked for success stories (and I found many which gave me hope) and delayed going to IVF, and wish now I didn't waste time. It's tough to come to terms with it, and everyone wants to beat the odds, but the longer you delay the more you'll lower your chances.

I think you have pretty good chances at 38 even with male factor if you go down the IVF route.

Thank you for sharing. Can I ask what MFI results you had back?

We will be doing IVF with ICSI too. Just getting frustrated at waiting times now.
