Calculating potential due date from IVF

Ok so I'm getting WAY ahead of myself here, first cycle, starting stims on 18th, but how would you estimate due date?

Would it be from the day of transfer, from the start of stims, or from first day of 'artificial' period? Or none of the above! Haha.

Again I know I shouldn't even be thinking this yet, there's a long journey ahead but I can't help myself!

There are lots of IVF due date calculators online. The day of transfer, and what type of embryo (i.e. 3 day, 5 day, 6 day) are what matters. I use this site: https://www.whattoexpect.com/ivf-due-date-calculator/

But, if you're successful and get to your NHS 12 week dating scan, they will give you a new due date based on the size of baby at that scan (in most places - some I've heard do go with your IVF due date). My NHS due date for both IVF pregnancies has been dated earlier than my IVF due date (I make slightly larger/longer babies). It doesn't really matter until the end of pregnancy, where I find consultants tend to pressure you into induction based on their NHS due date, whilst I work towards spontaneous labour based on IVF due date :)

Best of luck with your cycle

Was about to recommend the same calculator as 2mumlife!

My NHS go by the IVF due date, not the date from the 12 week dating scan. So I had to make sure I remember when embryo transfer was and how old the embryo was. They ask for it on forms/blood work paperwork.
