i am hoping someone can reassure me after such a rubbish journey. I started IVF back in January and had a chemical pregnancy. We eagerly wanted to start a second round but had to wait for colposcopy results which took forever after a cancelled colposcopy and then a change in cells which meant a biopsy back in June. Since the biopsy my periods have been a little bit shorter between cycles but thought nothing of it. Roll onto September and at the beginning of the month following an MDT meeting we got the letter that we were on to start IVF treatment again and the cell changes were minimal meaning we have a years sign off.
we contacted our fertility clinic and they said we can start treatment and notify them on D1 of my next period. Great! However that was due on the 22nd September and no period came. I have never missed or been late for a period ever, if anything I am often early.
I am nearly 37 and my AMH was 3.2pmol when checked in September 2023. I’m so worried. Could I be perimenopausal?
any advice would be appreciated
