Low sperm count/IVF waiting times

Hello! We've had the results from SA today. I can't remember the exact numbers and the consultant was very rushed (not great when she was 30 minutes late). DH has 10 million sperm count, good mobility range and good normality range. The consultant said everything is in good quality, but obviously it's a low sperm count. She's going to put a referral in for IVF, ICSI, as she doesn't think his sperm count is high enough.

I'm just wondering whether anyone has been able to conceive naturally with this sperm count, and more importantly, if anyone knows the recent waiting times for IVF NHS funded? Thanks.

If times depend on your area and health board. My referral took around 5 months to first appointment.

Hello it's hard to say as it's very area dependent. We got referred in May and have just had a consultation phone call to look at funding so still not even got to a clinic yet. It depends if they also then want to send you for further tests etc which can take time.

Depends where you are....currently a 19 week wait in Oxfordshire for your first appointment.

Hi, it does depend on area but we were reffered by dr in March. We've received funding this week (1st October) and have our first consultant appointment at fertility clinic on 12th November. So 8 months from refferal to appointment. But I'm not exactly sure for us now, when treatment might start after November
