Hi,
This is my 2nd round of IVF.
Something different happen and was offer EmbryoScope+ at £820 as optional. (Unsure of VAT)
I wondering have anyone done this? When I ask was this included in my 1st round she said it only available for patients after the 1st round fail. She said it was better for the embryos as its minimum contact when checking and it will be AI technology.
Embryoscope™ is a new type of incubator that allows the embryologist to monitor embryo cell divisions while the embryos are still in the incubator. The incubator has a built-in camera that can take pictures of the embryos at timed intervals.

What do you think?

Most good clinics should be using embryo scope as standard for all patients - it allows embryologists to see exactly how the embryos are developing (how quickly, any fertilisation issues etc). This can help them select the “best” embryo for transfer if you have several to choose from.

@GracePKI that what I thought.
So more likely I be buying the timelapse photos and video.

We've been offered it at a charge of 490 + VAT. Feels a bit rubbish that it's charged extra for something I feel should be offered to everyone! But we'll be doing it, as it's less interference with the eggs!
