Hi everyone,
would love some advice- I have had 2 fresh and 1 frozen embryo transfer all which have failed - I start spotting on day 3-4 past transfer and my period comes a few days after which is always early, never when it’s due.
My lining is thick levels are great our main factors are poor egg quality and sperm count no other issues, all three embryos are 5AA! I do progesterone suppositories 3x a day! I feel defeated!
I just don’t get why I spot so early!
any one have anything similar ?

i am sorry you are going through this. It’s heartbreaking .
like you said, most likely egg quality. Have you tried testing them? Egg rating means nothing if there are chromosomal abnormalities. I know this can be very heartbreaking. You can also try asking for more progesterone. In my successful cycle (could be a coincidence), they added lubion twice a day + 3 progesterone suppositories.

To add, my spotting was caused by progesterone suppositories. I started inserting them rectally, because vaginally I would spot badly every time. My cervix is quite sensitive and I read that it could be very common. Basically I would start spotting even before the transfer.

Thank you sooooo much for your feed back! I’m wondering if yesterdays spotting was from the pessaries because I haven’t had it since and have now changed application method- I feel like my period is coming and hot flushy but normally by now I’m wiping and seeing more and more spotting and that hasn’t happened yet-
I’m 5 days past frozen embryo transfer today, so who knows what the week will bring! i have saved your information for next time of need be so thank you again!!!
