4CA Graded Blastocyst Transferred

Hi everyone, was wondering if you could help as my mind is spiralling through too much googling !
I had a fresh embryo transfer today, it was a Day 5 Blastocyst graded 4CA.
I have been told that is good quality but when looking into it the “C” means poor. Anyone had success with the same graded embryo please ??
I felt positive but now the doubt has set in!

Hi! I would definitely check with your clinic directly and ask them to provide more details or explain their grading, as it seems that the systems they use may vary from clinic to clinic.
Our embryologist told us the name of the grading system they use so we could look it up online and learn about it.
Don't feel scared to tell them about your doubts or ask any questions you might have :)

I just searched your grading in a FB IVF Support group, there are people talking about their success with embryos graded as 4CC, 4CA, 4CB, etc. So it's definitely possible!

Hi, I spoke to the clinic when they told me about my day 6 embryos being no good. She said it's classed as a very good grade still so to be positive ! 😊 the two week wait is driving me crazy right now 🤣 wouldn't wish it upon anymore ! Just keep yourself busy and your mind occupied doing thing that make you relax and happy 💓 good luck !

Did they tell you much about it it ?

@LimeTurtle no they didn't say much at all. Just that they think it was good.

The transfer was painful as I have polyp/skin tag on my uterus. Causing me to slightly bleed.

However on the plus side this was my forth cycle but only the first time I've made it to transfer.

I have X 2 3BB in the freezer and they was going to see how others was going to see if there is more to freeze xx

I had success with a 3BC FET, I had 2 previous failures one fresh one FET with much higher (5AB/5BB) grades. They wouldn’t waste their time transferring it if there is very low chance of it working, I had 2 further embryos that were too low quality to freeze (so they definitely discard them) and I’ve got a 3CC in the freezer still. I was certain it wouldn’t work because the better graded ones had failed, but it did and he’s amazing!

another question on your fresh was progesterone did you have. I only have 2 pessaries a day? Not sure this is enough my clinic don’t test c

Hi, I take 3 pessaries a day if that helps, have to spread them 6-8 hours apart 😊 hope you're doing okay !

I'm on day 2 of the TWW and already going insane 😬

I won't lie ! I have tested this morning at 8dp5dt as it was sending my crazy. It was positive & I had some relief but now I'm just worrying about having a chemical pregnancy so feel like I need to test the next 2 days before my official test day Monday too😊 just try and distract yourself, as hard as that is to do ! Watch some comfort tv and take your mind off things xx

@LimeTurtle congratulations, I never tested positive on any of my failed transfers, but tested positive 6dp5dt on the successful one. I am fairly certain I was on 2 pessaries a day on all of them, one in the morning one in the evening. My levels were monitored and they were always fine.

Honestly don't worry ! I felt so emotional and sluggish as I felt the exact same around day 3 convinced it was my period coming early as exactly the same symptoms I get before

! I'm on day 9 now and am still testing positive this morning & no period ! I think it's emotions, mixed with potential side effects and potential implantation symptoms all rolled into one. It certainly isn't a journey for the faint hearted ! But you've got this ! Keep your chin up✨💕

Yes I did another digital this morning and got 2-3 still so hoping that means no drop in HCG so far ! My test day is tomorrow so got all my fingers crossed for that🥹 how are you doing xx

im going to stop and and test Wednesday when I will be 7dpt.

I have a really bad back ache which I get before my period.

Don't worry about the back ache ! I get it every time before my period like clockwork. I had it the same time you have it now and really got upset about it. I didn't test until 8dp5dt as i wanted to leave it as late as I can. So I agree leave it until Wednesday if you can and then try. Ill have my fingers crossed for you💗
