Testing- when is too soon?

I've been a few posts in other groups but wondered if there is a definitive list on when to take a pregnancy test?

I had fresh ET yesterday and the clinic has suggested testing (home testing as they don't provide blood tests) before Sunday 15th (day 11 post transfer) but is this right?

When is too soon?

TWW is so hard 😣

By when is right, do you mean when is a negative a definite negative?

That's tricky. Assuming you are using a highly sensitive test and first morning urine, for a viable pregnancy hcg would need the be high enough to be seen from about 7dp5dt. However, obviously dud tests are possible (but rare), and so I would test again on multiple subsequent days before giving up medication.

If you mean when is it first possible to see a positive, in my experience a few will see it on 4dp5dt, a bunch more on 5dp5dt and so forth.

Thanks so 4/5dp5dt is a possible but confident after 7/8dp5dt

Did I get that right?

You can test straight away through a process of testing out the trigger. However it does involve testing everyday so best to use cheaper tests. So if you test today it will be positive from the trigger. Each day that will get lighter as it leaves your system. Once the tests have gone negative you'll know the trigger is out of your system. Then as soon as the line returns (if it does) you'll know it's a real positive 😊

Exactly that, yes! Best of luck!
