Hi @user1497394086 I’ve just had my transfer this morning and was looking for a transfer buddy!
I’ve had a day 5 embryo transferred, and this time I’m doing a natural cycle.
How’re you feeling?

I had my 5 day embryo transfer on the 2nd. This is my first transfer and it’s medicated

Feeling a bit rough if I’m honest. The nurse has said my nausea is probably related to the oestrogen and progesterone I’m taking so think I’m going to have to find ways to manage it. How are you doing?

@KittenhuggerOh gosh, that nausea sucks! At least it’s for a good cause 🤗
I’m alright, it’s just the wait. It’s killing me, this is transfer number 2 and the first time I tested early and was so disappointed so I’m not doing it again. I’ll wait for the blood test on the 18th. I’m only taking the progesterone pessaries this time so I feel fine, a little constipated, but everything else is good. Last time I struggled with the extra hormones, I had headaches with the estrogen and palpitations with the progesterone injections and I was exhausted all the time.
I try not to think about any of it but I find it impossible, and each day crawls by so slowly. How do you keep yourself distracted?

Having my transfer on Monday!! First ever transfer so I’m nervous but excited!!

@Kaybee1989 im not sure lol I have lightly spotted since transfer day, im now 6dp5dt (nothing today so far) its been barely enough to even stain my underwear but there were a few days were there was staining every time I wiped, a sort of deep brown colour. Not much at all. It’s had me worried as I spot before every period, although that spotting is usually heavy enough. Other than that no real symptoms that I didn’t have before transfer with using progesterone etc.
How is everyone else doing?

Im getting impatiently nervous, the date is getting closer for the beta blood test (Weds) and this time I’ve decided not to test at all. Last time was soul destroying doing the test too early and being disappointed and then getting hopes up again thinking it was a false negative and then having them crushed again. I keep telling myself to stay realistic but positive, but I think it’s normal to have a little wobble from time to time 🫣
When is your blood test?

@Kaybee1989 im based in N.Ireland so my clinic don’t do bloods, we just test with a pregnancy test on OTD and then if it’s positive they schedule me in for a scan around 7 weeks. OTD is Saturday 🙈
how are you feeling? Is this time different to the previous round?

@Willard89 This time I’m doing a natural cycle, last time was medicated and I felt awful. So many symptoms that I thought was pregnancy but it turned out to be the hormones 😔 I feel
like I’m in a better place mentally this time, the first time I just didn’t know what to expect and it was all so emotional. It’s hard not to google symptoms looking for answers but I’ve come to the conclusion that it doesn’t help because almost every symptom can be either pregnancy or progesterone so I’m just gonna let it go. Not worry. And what will be will be! 😌 Ive only got two more days to go, and you’re over half way 👏 we’ve got this!

@Kaybee1989 the two week wait after transfer is horrendous, I knew it was would be hard but because I’m spotting almost every day since I just can’t stop worrying.

@Kaybee1989 Awwwww I am so happy for you!!!!!!! Congratulations 🥳🥳🥳 Yeah I’m feeling ok, I had spotting for a few days which has stopped now so I am hoping that’s a good sign. Here’s hoping 🤞🏼

@Kaybee1989 hey, unfortunately it was negative. I had really convinced myself it had worked because I had slight brown spotting days 5/7&8 which completely stopped then so i genuinely thought it was implantation bleeding. Sadly not to be 😞

I’m sorry to hear that @Willard89 it’s a hard blow to receive, I know. Cliché, but with time it’ll get better, sending lots of support your way 💓
