Has anyone had IVF with PGT-A testing at the Lister clinic?

We start our treatment in 2 weeks, looking for success stories please 🙏🏼 how did you find it?

Hi @Bonniexx I used pgta on my 6 embryos last March, 2 came back normal. They had a very quick turnaround on the results and I was able to do a FET shortly after my egg collection and withdrawal bleed, it was successful and I have an 8 month baby boy. I've transferred the other embryo this month and got a positive test a few days ago so hopefully this one works out too.

Best of luck x

I should also say that pgta isn't a guarantee of successful outcome and I think that other factors come into play, everyone has their own medical history and it's difficult to compare experiences. I was on immune treatment including steroids for nk cells which might have helped but who knows. I also had very good AMH, no underlying health conditions, good hormone levels and my partners sperm was tested in depth and it was all fine. So all of that helps I guess

@browneyedgirl626 awww that’s so lovely to hear! Congratulations and I hope this second pregnancy goes smoothly 🤞❤️

Roughly how quick was the turnaround on the results? They have said 2-3 weeks which I know will feel like a lifetime! I’ve had several blood tests which have all come back pretty normal and my AMH is 22.5 (I’m 35 years old) but husbands sperm is a little bit low so hoping the ICSI will help x

Thank you 🙏🏻 @Bonniexx

I think I got the results of pgta within 9 or 10 days, it was quicker than I expected. Hopefully you won't have a long wait for yours x

Was this on NHS or private? We are eligible for NHS PGT IVF and I'm wondering how long it will take from referral to actually getting an embryo transferred. Thanks!

Bonniexx · 01/09/2024 19:03

@Cosmos24 we decided to go private in the end because I didn’t want to wait for the NHS. What stage are you at in the process? I’ve heard that once funding has been approved things move pretty quickly x

Hi @browneyedgirl626 congratulations on your success. I am considering to go with Lister for FET. Can I PM you to ask you more about your experience with Lister?

Did PGTA testing with Lister on two rounds in 2021, I feel like the results were fairly quick- maybe 10 days? I don't think more than 2 weeks? I think if someone can afford it they should do testing!
