Any success with a grade D embryo?

I’m just on my way home from my fresh embryo transfer. We only had two embryos that survived to today. One was a grade D, the other hadn’t progressed to blastocyst but we still growing so they transferred them both.
Ive never had lower than a C grade before, I’m really struggling with feeling like I’ve done something wrong to make the quality so bad.
Has anyone had any success in a similar situation? I’m feeling so hopeless already, these two weeks are going to be so tough

I don't have any success stories, grade D or otherwise. But just wanted to tell you that there's nothing you have done to get grade D, it's none of your fault. Besides, grading of embryos are really a beauty contest, many grade A's don't implant and many lower grades do. So please don't be hard on yourself and try to enjoy the tww. Good luck 🍀

Thank you for taking the time to reply. It’s so hard to not feel like every little thing you do is effecting chances of success. But you’re right, and if someone said to me that they blame themselves I’d be telling them the same. I appreciate your words.

How are you doing @Dove88 🙏 did you have a positive result?

Dove88 · 11/09/2024 19:06

Unfortunately it was negative. I’m lucky to have a daughter from previous ivf so I am very grateful for that, but this was our last attempt as we just can’t afford to keep going so it’s been a bit of a struggle.
