Anyone else in their TWW?

Hi, looking for other people in their TWW to see how they are doing/coping.

We just had ET yesterday, it’s our first round so really going through all the emotions.
I feel very lucky we had a good result from ER and we transferred a grade A yesterday.
For what we know currently, our infertility is due to male factor(vasectomy reversal) but I do have slightly high TSH at 2.65

@Sineadttc bless you - I think 5dp5dt is too early so it may yet be a BFP. You have to do what is best for you - I have chosen not to test because I think I'll worry more if I do! But some ladies find it more helpful to test out the trigger and then carry on testing!

Try not to get too upset about it, you are very far from out 😘 x

@JenRi oh yes sorry I did read that above! What an inconvenient time for him to be away I’m sure you are both dying to test. Good luck 🤞🏼

@Sineadttc sorry to hear about your negative test. It is still early days though so I would let gove us hope yet!

Can I join you ladies? Currently 5dp5dt and while I want to test, I'm enjoying my little bubble of hope at the moment and don't yet want it to come crashing down.

@CaffeineAndCrochet welcome! I’m definitely going to hold off testing until the day this time too, at least then you have a definate answer. Is this your first transfer?

Hi @Capybara95 - yes, first cycle of IVF and first transfer. I've been telling myself all along not to pin too much hope on this because it is just the first transfer, but it's hard not to.

@CaffeineAndCrochet aw I know it’s hard to be positive but also realistic when you want it so much but lots of people’s first transfer does work so hopefully it will for you! Are you feeling back to yourself after your egg collection and everythingv

@Capybara95 Some mild discomfort at times in my right ovary, but pretty much back to normal, thankfully! It was a rough recovery - I couldn't walk easily until nearly a week after. Lots of gas and bloating.

@CaffeineAndCrochet i was the same after mine it was awful! How many eggs did you have collected?

@Capybara95 Went from 11 collected, to 5 and then to 2, 1 of which is chilling in the freezer now. It really took me by surprise how difficult the recovery was - I had the EC on a Thursday so had pre-arranged to take it and Friday off work - that's all the clinic recommended - but there's no way I would have been ready to go back the next day.

Still a BFN negative for me today. Gutted.
I will ring the clinic and hopefully get started again with a FET.

It still could be too early for a confirmed BFN - honestly!

Mine sadly was a BFN but I suspected after migraine and started with really heavy bleeding overnight on Saturday 🙁

@JenRi sorry to hear your test was a BFN. Nothing prepares you for that feeling. Sending a massive virtual hug x

@CaffeineAndCrochet hello ☺️ I am the same days past transfer as you. I’m 6dpt today.
I had such a busy weekend, had my younger sister come and stay so it was a lovely distraction. And now I’m back to a full week of community placement.

@LilacSkies23 my OTD is Thursday. I tested from 5dp5dt and kind of happy I did. It helped me to come to terms with it. Although that first BFN was heartbreaking x

@Sineadttc bless you, it’s so disheartening. I will still keep positive thoughts for you. Are you using FRER? Do you have to attend for a blood test? X

@LilacSkies23 thank you 💖 I used a FRER yesterday and got line eyes thinking I saw something but nope it was definitely stark white. Then I did another easy @ home this morning and it too was stark white. No I’m not going in for a beta. Tomorrow my AF should arrive so hopefully it does because I have all the PMS symptoms 🥲

@Sineadttc @JenRi sorry to hear about the negative tests. Hope you can take sometime for yourselves and your partners and try to do something nice ❤️

I had my transfer this evening, now the wait begins… lol

@LilacSkies23 Thanks for the message. How are you feeling? I'm starting to get what feel like regular PMS symptoms so I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact that this isn't likely to be our time.
