so for the last 13 months or so I have thought that my failure to conceive was all down to me and my age. However, turns out husband has an overactive thyroid and I’ve read this can cause issues with sperm. I wondered if anyone else had any issues trying to conceive with a partner who has thyroid issues. Also I’ve looked at sperm testing and they all seem to require pre- consultations and post consultations plus actual testing so is working out around £700. Is there anywhere north west people might know that just allows a test without having to pay for consultations? Also heard home testing isn’t reliable. We don’t qualify for a test on the nhs.
