Medication to regulate period

Has anyone tried going on the pill or any other medication to regulate their cycles to conceive? We've had 1 round of ICSI, FET with the only emrbyo we got but unfortunately had a mmc discovered at our 8 week scan. My partner is currently waiting for a date for varicocele surgery after which we'd like to try naturally again before looking into round 2 of IVF - I have PCOS and irregular cycles, no pattern to them what's so ever! Has anyone had success of medication regulating their periods?

I'm not an expert but can't you take letrozole or metformin to help with that? When I was first seen by my fertility consultant he was convinced I had PCOS as there was no evidence of ovulation (low progesterone) on any of my blood tests but no cysts on US and low AMH so couldn't be PCOS. If it had been he would have given me letrozole to take he said.
