How unlikely is natural conception? We've been TTC for a year, should we go straight to IVF now?

No issues found with me except low ish AMH of 15 for my age (late 20s). Hycosy showed no issues. Blood tests - no issues. Scans - no issues.

So it looks like the volume and count abd most things are normal. (Edited to complete sebtence).

Morphology being low, and progressive motility being slightly low can be a problem - if the sperm can't move forward they cannot meet the egg. But this msy not be a severely abnormal result. Has your doctor discussed the result with you?

However you can get a lot of variation between different SA readings. Dies your partner eat lots of fruit and veg? Has he cut smoking, cannabis and drinking out? Reduced caffeine? Could he take a male fertility supplement? Does he exercise? Could he cut hot showers?Did he abstain from sex or masturbating for exactly 2-7 days beforehand?

This Slide show is very technical (think it's meant for doctors) but it points out that anyone wuth low parameters should be referred early as ivf may even be prevented if the cause is treated. Mist doctors woukd recommend getting 2 SAs before being concerned as they can vary.

I would either go see your GP for an NHS fertility referral or repeat SA or get an initial private consultation with a fertility specialist to discuss things further if you were planning on going private. But you'll need a doctor to gather all the information and decide if IVF is tge best option at this point or whether tgere are things you can try first.
