Thought I would create a thread for anyone who is starting/going through any assisted conception now & into next month as I couldn’t see one. My EC/ET will be around the first week of August.
Bit of background:
I’m 35, my partner is 33
Naturally TTC 4 years, paid for private investigations which led to unexplained infertility diagnosis. Although my AMH is low for my age 5.9
We did short protocol last July - 5 eggs, 2 made it to day 5 blasts so a double transfer. Blessed that it worked first time, however we had a mmc at 11 weeks.
5 weeks later I had emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic as the second embryo had been missed (very rare to be missed for so long so please don’t be put off)
Fast forward a year, we are now doing the long protocol I’m 8 days in to my down reg with prostap - wow it makes me feel so grumpy!
But I’ve introduced acupuncture into this round and I am loving it and it helps with my moods.
