Conceiving with endometriosis and chocolate cysts

I had a appointment with my gynae consultant following an mri scan. It has shown a cyst which is most likely a chocolate cyst and also deep endometriosis whilst also being attached to my colon. It's not the news I wanted to hear but I knew something was definitely not right.
The consultant has therefore asked my GP to refer me to an endometriosis centre and also a referral to fertility.

My partner and I are trying to conceive currently but given this news I'm feeling very deflated.

I know everyone is different but I guess what I'm asking for is if anyone has been in this situation? Have you had a successful conception? Just looking for some hope following the news today. xx

I had very similar results from my MRI , which I was referred for after a cyst was found on my ovary when I was pregnant. So there is definitely hope x

I'm sorry that it's been tough. it truly is frustrating news.

I had a previous endometrioma a couple of years ago that seems to have disappeared- i don't know why. My GP actually played it down initially and I had to remind her that it's a sign of endometriosis and to please refer me for fertility investigation/clinic. Like you I'm waiting on my appointment so I don't have any advice yet.

Hoping someone a bit further in the journey will chime in with what their next steps were in terns of investigation.

I was considering whether to look into private scans whilst I wait.
