Left side ovulation following left tube removal ( etopic)

Looking for some opinions / experience please. I lost my left tube in april and seem to ovulate more from the left ovary. Been for a scan this morning two days before ovulation and the follicle on left looks good at 17 mm. Fertility specialist doesn't seem overly concerned but I have read that right side ovulation is more likely to end in pregnancy rather than left also the fact my right fallopian tube will have to reach round. Feeling quite negative about all of this so was wondering if anyone was in same position and had success in conceiving? thanks

So interesting to read your post! My left tube is actually blocked and I have also found out my left ovary is dominant - I did a number of back to back scans and each month it was my left side that ovulated.

I fell pregnant last summer having ovulated from my left side but sadly it ended in a miscarriage - I think likely due to late implantation as a result of having to travel over to the right side.

I had a couple of rounds of IVF which failed but when I had a scan after my most recent cycle they confirmed I was about to ovulate from my right side. We think the IVF drugs may have given the right side a “boost”.

Incredibly, I fell pregnant that month and I just had my 12 week scan today! So there may be something in it….

Congratulations! Was this cycle ivf? the specialist seems hesitant to give me anything so I don't know what will happen!
