IVF Round 4

05/07 - todays the day i get started for round 4 of IVF. AMH blood test and the BMI check.

Is anybody else starting around now, hope to get meds and start mid August.

Little bit of back story,
1st round didn't respond to treatment.
2nd round got to egg collection but my husband had 0 sperm.
3rd round 9 eggs didn't survive the thaw.

Never made it to transfer yet 🙄

Hi @Natasha90 sorry for your difficult journey so far. May I ask what you or your partner have been diagnosed with ? I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you this cycle

This sounds hard OP but you sound positive about this next round and that’s the best way to be!

I’ve had 3 transfer so far and nothing. My progesterone was low every time and never seemed to get it right!
I had the 4th transfer yesterday and my bloods were good, also having blood thinners this time so I’m crossing everything. It’s a very emotional process.

@Anniekent1 I have PCOS and blocked tubes both sides. My husband has low morphology. Not sure what happened on the day this was Jan 2023 for our fresh....

However he took supplements (herbal ) and when we back in September 2023 his sperm was perfect and frozen.

@Natasha90 thank you for sharing. Good news he had improvements. I wish you all the best and you'll have to keep us updated

@Natasha90 good luck such a long and difficult road. I have had 2 egg collections, 4 embryo transfers and no implantations so far it’s awful. Just about to have a double transfer so will be my 5th & 6th and will still have 6 frozen embryos after this. As lucky as this sounds it still sucks when none of them then do anything. Just wanted to reach out to show support as I often feel very lonely when these forums are full of success stories and mine never seems to come but hopefully they will one day xx

@wildblue07 good luck on this transfer. How did you know your progesterone was too low? For my first 2 transfers I bled early but probably around the time my period was due so then I had lubion added in and I didn’t bleed until I stopped them but still didn’t have any success with the next 2 transfers I had. This time I am having a natural Fet and I’m having a blood test before transfer with just pessaries unless the result shows too low. Can’t seem to find a reason at the moment as to why they aren’t working for me.

We're still taking some time, my partner has a follow up with the urologist in 2 weeks so we should be able to get more of a plan together based on what he says! X
